TKM is an alternative modality that uses touch and the principle of Energetics and Bio-Physics to help relieve or correct most, if not all, of man's health issues.
Dr. Glenn King is the founder of the King Institute, Inc., a non-profit Christian-based health organization, and the developer of this non-invasive method which originated from Japan.
una ko itong nalaman from my parents when they got back from the PCAM convention (the AM stands for Alternative Medicine. di ko alam yung the rest. hehe), where Dr. King held a seminar. they were taught the basics of the method like the procedure for heart attack, seizure, choking, and even hiccups.
so ayun, mom taught me the procedure for hiccups kasi ako'y isang sinuking bata. haha. problematic talaga ako pag sinisinok kasi ang tagal tas ang dalas to the point na masakit na siya. taking a deep breath and drinking water didn't work for me.
i was skeptic that the procedure would work kasi nga touch lang talaga siya. di kailangan ng pressure or rubbing. there are just certain points in the body that you have to touch. like yung sa hiccups, you only have to put the pads of your fingers (of the left and right hand) under the curves of your left and right ribcage.
and it worked! unbelievable. i've heard many testimonies na rin about how TKM helped with their illnesses. now i use it all the time, and in just seconds totally nawawala sinok ko.
i know it sounds ridiculous pero it really works. and it's actually backed up by sound scientific studies and many experts and medical doctors.
visit their site na lang for more info: www.kinginstitute.org
and if you want to know the specific procedures for certain illnesses, just ask. my mom has the TKM book and she's currently practicing it. i know some of the basics din myself. :D di siya yung Mulan na tulad nung sa Disney (which i wasn't expecting) dahil unang-una, Tagalog siya. sounds korni, pero pramis, hinde. parang mas naging funny pa nga kasi Pinoy humor, eh. ayos. hehe. tas ayun nga, it's like they based the story on the real legend of Mulan, which was refreshing. kasi nga naman kung parehas lang nung sa Disney, no kwents, di ba. walang thrill.
it was really fun! the play was very kiddie. heehee. sobrang kulay ng costumes nung cast tas ang kulet ng body actions nila and coreography. nakatutuwa. pero most of the humor, and the story itself caters adults. nakakatawa talaga.
so kung may time kayo, watch niyo na rin! support Pinoy theater! hehe. P250 lang yung student ticket, and P500 yung regular. showing pa siya this coming Friday 'til Saturday. nood na! :D
